Hi, I'm Pierre-Louis Lemaire, a Research MSc. student in Applied Mathematics at Polytechnique Montréal
supervised by Prof. Julie Carreau and Prof. Youssef Diouane.
Prior to coming in Montréal in September 2023, I was studying applied mathematics at INSA Toulouse in France.
My current research project involves using physics-informed deep learning for multivariate climate downscaling. I work on ensuring the physical coherence of the downscaling models and improving performance by leveraging domaine knowledge. More broadly, I'm very interested on all works related to AI for science, with an emphasis on more fundamentals approaches for solving complex scientific challenges.
